Rajiv Gandhi National Aviation University (RGNAU) Amethi, Uttar Pradesh has invited for the post of Librarian vacancy. RGNAU, a Central University established under the Rajiv Gandhi National Aviation University Act, 2013, operates under the Ministry of Civil Aviation, Government of India. The Librarian will be a full-time salaried officer, appointed by the Executive Council based on the recommendation of a Selection Committee, in accordance with the RGNAU Act, 2013, RGNAU Statutes, 2016, and RGNAU Ordinances, 2020.

Essential Qualification and Experience (for Direct Recruits):
(i) A Master’s Degree in Library Science, Information Science, or Documentation from a recognized university with at least 55% marks or a grade of ‘B’ on the UGC seven-point scale (or its equivalent), along with a consistently strong academic record.
(ii) Experience as a Deputy Librarian at a university in Pay Level 12 (₹78,800 – ₹2,09,200) with thirteen years of regular service, or as a College Librarian in Pay Level 10 (₹56,100 – ₹1,77,500) with eighteen years of regular service.
Desirable Qualification and Experience:
A Master of Philosophy (M.Phil.) or Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Library Science, Information Science, Documentation, or Archives and Manuscript-keeping from a recognized university.
