Sri Venkateswara University invites applications for the one-year Library Apprenticeship Programme at the University Library. The details are as follows:

Details of the Apprenticeship Programme

• Position: Library Apprenticeship Programme
• Number of Trainees: 7 (Seven)
• Stipend: ₹ 10,000/- per month (consolidated)
• Age Limit: 30 years (as on the date of the circular issued)
• Qualification: Master’s Degree in Library and Information Science with a minimum of 55% marks
• Skills Required: Knowledge of computers is essential
• Job Nature: Selected candidates will assist the Librarian in various sections and may work in different shifts.
• Location: Sri Venkateswara University Library, Tirupati

Important Instructions

• The apprenticeship is for one year and is purely temporary; it will not be extended.
• Applications without M.L.I.Sc. Provisional/Convocation Certificates will not be considered.
• Applications should be sent to the Librarian I/c, S.V. University Library, Tirupati-517 502.
• No TA/DA will be provided for attending the interview.
