Important Information:

1. Number of Vacancies: Two (2)
2. Duration of Apprenticeship: One year
3. Educational Qualification:
   • A degree in Science/Arts/Commerce along with a degree in Library and Information Science (BLIS/MLIS) from a recognized university.
   • Preference is given to candidates with a degree in Science.
   • Computer application knowledge is essential.
4. Age Limit: 18 to 28 years as of 30th September 2024.
5. Stipend: ₹11,500/- per month (Consolidated).
6. Advertisement Publication Date: 26th September 2024.
7. Last Date for Submitting Applications: 14th October 2024.

Additional Information:

• Only fresh graduates who have not previously undergone any apprenticeship training are eligible.
• Candidates who passed the qualifying exam more than three years ago are ineligible.
• Completing the apprenticeship will not guarantee a permanent position at NIV, ICMR, or any other government department.
• Certificates will only be issued after the successful completion of the one-year apprenticeship.
• Age relaxation for SC/ST/OBC/PWD candidates will be as per government rules.
