Position Details:

- Pay Scale: Level 8 (Pre-revised Pay Band-2: ₹9,300 – ₹34,800 + Grade Pay ₹4,800)
- Pay Level in Matrix: ₹47,600 (Level 8, Cell 1) + applicable allowances
- Age Limit: Maximum 35 years as of March 21, 2025
Educational Qualification:
- Master’s degree in Library and Information Science (MLIS) or Master of Library Science (M.Lib) with at least 50% marks from a recognized university.
- Consistently good academic record is required.
Essential Experience:
- 5 to 7 years of post-qualification experience as a Junior Librarian or Assistant Librarian.
- Must be willing to work in shifts.
- Proficiency in computers, library management systems, and related information technology.
Preferred Skills & Experience:
- Experience in digital library systems.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of e-database management, electronic services, and automated searches.
