The National Institute of Technology (NIT) Raipur has announced a recruitment drive for the position of Library Trainee, offering an excellent opportunity for recent graduates in the field of Library and Information Science.
This vacancy is particularly aimed at individuals who have completed their Master’s degree (MLIS) with first division and are keenly interested in gaining hands-on experience in a dynamic academic library environment. The selected trainees will receive a monthly stipend and will be engaged for one year temporarily.
This role is designed to provide practical training in various aspects of library management, including the use of computer and automation software, preparing trainees for future professional roles in the field.
- Position: Library Trainee
- Qualification: Candidates must have a Master’s Degree in Library and Information Science (MLIS) with a first division. Preference will be given to candidates with knowledge of computers and library automation software.
- Number of Posts: 6
- Stipend: ₹25,000 per month
- Duration: 1 year (purely temporary basis)
- Age Limit: 30 years (as of the last date of application)

- Important Notes:
