ISTIC Conclave held in New Delhi: Theme Traditional Knowledge for Sustainable Livelihoods
The International Science, Technology, and Innovation Centre for South-South Cooperation (ISTIC) under UNESCO, along with CSIR units, organized an STI Conclave on “Traditional Knowledge for Sustainable Livelihoods” from 29-31 July 2024 in New Delhi, India.
The event, inaugurated by Dr. N. Kalaiselvi, featured prominent speakers discussing biodiversity, traditional cultural expressions, integrative health, and policies on traditional knowledge (TK) and intellectual property (IP).
The Conclave aimed to highlight the importance of traditional knowledge in modern sustainability efforts and to foster international cooperation and exchange among participants from various countries.
