However, some institutions/universities of learning admit students in MLIS Course programs based on undergraduate degrees in any stream like BA, B. Com, BCA, B.Sc, B. Tech, etc.

  • Educational Qualification: A Bachelor’s of Library and Information Science (BLIS), But some universities offer MLIS Courses directly after Graduation in any stream.
  • Entrance Exam: Some institutions may require you to pass an entrance exam or interview.
  • Experience: In some cases, prior experience in the library or information science field is a plus but not mandatory.
