The Rajiv Gandhi University relesed the notification for Teaching Assistant for Walk-in-Interview

A walk-in-interview is scheduled for eligible candidates to apply for the position of Teaching Assistant in the Department of Library and Information Science at Rajiv Gandhi University.

Specialization:
- M.Lib.Sc with a minimum of 55% marks (or an equivalent grade). The degree must be from an accredited Indian or foreign university. SC/ST candidates are eligible for a 5% relaxation in marks.
- The candidate must have cleared the UGC NET, CSIR NET, or a similar test accredited by the UGC, such as SLET/SET. PhD holders are exempt from the requirement of NET/SLET/SET.
Remuneration: Consolidated pay of ₹1,000 per class, with a maximum of ₹35,000 per month.

- Venue: Multipurpose Room, Central Library
Important Notes:
- The position is purely temporary and is for one semester only, but the service may be extended if required by the university.
- No TA/DA will be provided for attending the interview.
- Candidates should bring original documents and bio-data for verification at the time of the interview.
If any unforeseen circumstances (e.g., natural calamity, bandh) occur on the interview date, it will be postponed to the next working day.
