2. Eligibility Criteria and Terms
For Direct Recruitment or Contractual Hiring
- Educational Qualification: A Bachelor’s degree in Library and Information Science (BLIS) from a recognized institution (higher qualifications preferred).
- Experience: At least two years of experience in a library within Central/State Government or a PSU. Preference will be given to candidates with additional experience.
For Retired Candidates
- Educational Qualification: A BLIS degree from a recognized institution.
- Additional Requirements: Proficiency in computer applications. Candidates must have retired as a Librarian, Assistant Librarian, or equivalent role from Central/State Government or PSU.
3. Age Limit
- Cut-off Date for Age Calculation: December 16, 2024

- Retired Candidates: 62 years
