- Pay Level: 7
- Pay Scale: ₹44,900 – ₹1,42,400/- per month
- Grade Pay: ₹4,600 (7th CPC equivalent)
- Basic Pay (Starting): ₹44,900/-
- In-hand Salary: Approx. ₹65,000 – ₹75,000 (depending on city & allowances)

- Essential Qualification:
- BLIS with at least 50% marks OR
- Integrated Master of Library & Information Science with at least 50% marks
