Important Information:
- Number of Vacancies: Two (2)
- Duration of Apprenticeship: One year
- Educational Qualification:
- A degree in Science/Arts/Commerce along with a degree in Library and Information Science (BLIS/MLIS) from a recognized university.
- Preference is given to candidates with a degree in Science.
- Computer application knowledge is essential.
- Age Limit: 18 to 28 years as of 30th September 2024.
- Stipend: ₹11,500/- per month (Consolidated).
- Advertisement Publication Date: 26th September 2024.
- Last Date for Submitting Applications: 14th October 2024.
Additional Information:
- Only fresh graduates who have not previously undergone any apprenticeship training are eligible.
- Candidates who passed the qualifying exam more than three years ago are ineligible.
- Completing the apprenticeship will not guarantee a permanent position at NIV, ICMR, or any other government department.
- Certificates will only be issued after the successful completion of the one-year apprenticeship.
- Age relaxation for SC/ST/OBC/PWD candidates will be as per government rules.
