Position Overview:
- Post Name: Library Intern
- Stipend: ₹28,000 per month
- Duration: 1 year (Subject to satisfactory performance review after 6 months)
- Available Positions: 10
- Eligibility: Candidates must have completed an MLIS (Master of Library and Information Science) with First Division in 2023 or 2024. Those awaiting final results may also apply but must submit results at the time of the interview.
- Age Limit: Maximum 27 years as of October 25, 2024.
Duration of Trainee:
The internship is temporary and will last up to one year, with an initial review after six months. A certificate will be awarded to interns who complete at least six months.
Selection Process:
- Written Test based on the UGC-NET syllabus, followed by an interview. The final selection will be based on the combined merit of both.
- Nature of Work: Interns will work in different sections of the library, gaining experience in modern library management and web-based services.
