Deputy Librarian (Group A)

• Number of Vacancies: 1 (UR)
• Pay Level: Level-12 (as per 7th CPC)
• Age Limit: 50 years
• Qualifications and Experience:
  • Essential:
    • A Master’s Degree in Library Science, Information Science, or Documentation Science with at least 55% marks.
    • Ph.D. in Library Science, Information Science, Documentation, or Archives and Manuscript-keeping.
    • Proven evidence of innovative library services, including the use of ICT in libraries.
    • Minimum 8 years as an Assistant Librarian in Academic Pay Level-10, with at least 2 years of experience in Academic Pay Level-11, in a library of a higher education institute, university, or scientific/technical institute.

Junior Library Superintendent (Group B)

• Number of Vacancies: 1 (UR)
• Pay Level: Level-6 (as per 7th CPC)
• Age Limit: 35 years
• Qualifications:
  • Essential:
    • Master’s Degree in Library Science/Library and Information Science with 55% marks from a recognized university.
    • OR a Bachelor’s Degree in Library Science/Library and Information Science with first-class.
  • Desirable:
    • Diploma/Certificate in Computer Application, Digital Library Management, or Library Automation.
    • Practical experience in Library Digitization and Library Networking.
• Experience:
  • 5 years of experience in Library & Information Science, including Digital Library Management and Library Networking, in central or state government, semi-government, or autonomous organizations.
