- Qualifications and Experience:
- Essential:
- A Master’s Degree in Library Science, Information Science, or Documentation Science with at least 55% marks.
- Ph.D. in Library Science, Information Science, Documentation, or Archives and Manuscript-keeping.
- Proven evidence of innovative library services, including the use of ICT in libraries.
- Minimum 8 years as an Assistant Librarian in Academic Pay Level-10, with at least 2 years of experience in Academic Pay Level-11, in a library of a higher education institute, university, or scientific/technical institute.
- Essential:
Junior Library Superintendent (Group B)
- Number of Vacancies: 1 (UR)
- Pay Level: Level-6 (as per 7th CPC)
- Age Limit: 35 years
- Qualifications:
- Essential:
- Master’s Degree in Library Science/Library and Information Science with 55% marks from a recognized university.
- OR a Bachelor’s Degree in Library Science/Library and Information Science with first-class.
- Desirable:
- Diploma/Certificate in Computer Application, Digital Library Management, or Library Automation.
- Practical experience in Library Digitization and Library Networking.
- Essential:
- Experience:
- 5 years of experience in Library & Information Science, including Digital Library Management and Library Networking, in central or state government, semi-government, or autonomous organizations.
