- Remuneration: ₹57,700 per month (consolidated)
Educational Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Library Science, Information Science, or Documentation Science, or an equivalent professional degree with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale where grading is used).
- Consistently good academic record with knowledge of library computerization.
- Must have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by UGC/CSIR or an equivalent test (SLET/SET).
- Candidates awarded a Ph.D. in compliance with UGC regulations (2009/2016) are exempt from NET/SLET/SET, provided specific conditions are met:
- Ph.D. awarded in regular mode.
- Thesis evaluated by at least two external examiners.
- Open Ph.D. viva voce conducted.
- Two research papers published (one in a refereed journal).
- Two conference/seminar papers presented.
Experience:
- Minimum two years of relevant experience in a fully automated/digital library system in a State/Central Government Institute or Institute of National Importance in Higher Education.
Desirable Conditions:
- Exemptions from NET/SLET/SET apply for specific Master’s programs where such tests are not conducted.
