Job Details
- Position: Assistant Librarian (Unreserved)
- Pay Scale: Academic Pay Level-10 (₹57,700–₹1,82,400)

Essential Qualifications and Experience
- Educational Background:
- Master’s Degree in Library Science, Information Science, or Documentation Science with at least 55% marks.
- Consistently good academic record and familiarity with library computerization.
- Testing Requirements:
- Cleared NET (UGC/CSIR) or similar tests like SLET/SET.
- Ph.D. holders are exempted from NET/SLET/SET, provided they meet conditions like evaluation of their thesis by external examiners, publications, and conference presentations.
- Work Experience:
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in institutes/universities (post-qualification).
- Age Limit:
- Preferably below 45 years.
Additional Criteria
- Master’s degree holders must have at least 60% marks or a CGPA of 6 on a 10-point scale.
- Graduation-level marks should be 55% or equivalent grade.
- Guest lecturer/faculty and research fellow experience will not be counted.
