Educational Qualifications & Experience:

Essential Requirements:

1. Master’s Degree in Library Science or Library and Information Science from a recognized university/institute.
2. Minimum five years of professional experience in a library within a Central/State Government department, autonomous/statutory organization, PSU, university, or recognized research/educational institution.

Desirable Qualifications:

1. One year of experience in computerizing library operations within similar organizations.
2. Diploma in Computer Applications from a recognized university/institute.
