Qualifications for Assistant Librarian:
- Master’s degree in Library Science, Information Science, Documentation Science, or an equivalent professional degree with at least 55% marks (or equivalent grade/OGPA). A relaxation of 5% is applicable for SC/ST candidates.
- Must have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by ICAR/UGC/CSIR or similar accredited tests, or possess a Ph.D. degree in accordance with UGC regulations.
- Candidates with a Ph.D. degree in line with UGC regulations are exempt from the NET/SLET/SET requirement, subject to specific conditions related to evaluation and publication.
- A minimum score as outlined in the API-based PBAS set by the university.
Desirable:
- Ph.D. in a relevant discipline.
